Illinois Amends Mold Remediation Registration Act
August 12, 2024 - Illinois passed bill SB1087 that will require mold remediation companies to register with the state. As a pre-requisite, they'll be required to complete IICRC certifications. The registration protocols and requirements will take some time to implement, but the key takeaway for restoration contractors in Illinois is to make sure your team is up-to-date on your IICRC training.
