This training is not an IICRC course. There is no certification exam.

The IICRC SMT (Stone, Masonry, & Ceramic Tile Cleaning Technician) course is a two-day hands-on style learning experience. This course will give you the knowledge and skills needed to perform both basic and advanced procedures for the cleaning and maintenance of natural stone, ceramics, and other man-made floors.

Bob Merkt
Bob Merkt has been involved in the cleaning industry for more than 35 years. He is the owner of MEGA – The Merkt Educational Group and Associates. Bob is an IICRC-approved instructor, an invited speaker at industry events, author, and contributor to many industry publications. He is an IICRC Master Cleaner, and past chair of the IICRC Floor Care Technician (FCT) Committee. Currently, He is the vice chair of the Stone Masonry Technician (SMT) course and a member of the FCT committee.
