Class Overview

If you are serious about scaling your business – this is the class that you don’t want to miss.

This comprehensive 1-day program is designed to help business owners, managers, and marketers in the disaster restoration industry how to Build Wealth, Market Dominance, and Freedom through innovative Marketing, Sales, and Employee Engagement techniques.

Throughout the program, your instructor Ivan Turner will pull back the curtain and reveal trade secrets for building a successful restoration company based on personal experiences from decades of “down in the trenches” work in the Insurance Restoration Space. You will not get pie in the sky, big talk from a self-promoting marketer who teaches marketing and sales based on theory, but rather a wealth of useful information and proven strategies based on years of trial-and-error and tens of thousands of dollars of investment in discovering Best Practices.

What Students say...

Bill Yeadon

"Ivan Turner scores on both counts"

by Bill Yeadon

Having been an instructor for many years, I enjoy listening to other presenters. Two things I look for: 1) the instructor has done what they are talking about and 2) they present with enthusiasm. Ivan Turner scores on both counts.

"Engaging, insightful, and making the most important topics memorable"

by Gianni Cortes

Mr. Turner is excellent at making a class engaging, insightful, and making the most important topics memorable. He gives us real world experience on top of the knowledge shared rather than solely repeating a PowerPoint. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to take their restoration business to the next level. Excited to implement my learning from this class into my business.

Just a quick email to thank you for the past two day class on Marketing and on boarding. The information you provided was very helpful and to the point. I definitely learned a great deal and would recommend the class to anyone in the restoration business. Thank you again!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I will use your formula to better our company.

Thank you again for the training class...I learned a lot. It definitely gave me several things to think about with my business.

I just wanted to thank you for the class a couple of weeks ago-Breaking the Code. It was very enjoyable and informative. We have begun to include much of the information into our marketing program as we prepare to hire a full time marketing person. It’s just not real easy to find just the right person. But we will succeed.

FAQ

Come with an open mind. Many of the strategies and sales approaches shared during the course may be new to you. The most important thing for you to remember is that I am here to support you and champion your success.

If at all possible, please read over the manual before the class starts. You will be sent a Power Point slide deck along with several other documents that you should complete prior to the class. Many of the slides have questions that should be answered before or during the class. Please have the slides with lines for answers printed and ready for class. There is a lot of information packed into a 2-day class. If possible, it’s better if you please print off your manual. This makes it easier to take notes. Please have pen and highlighter handy during the class to be able to take notes.

Absolutely! Please have your questions ready. We do a great deal of sales call role playing during the class. If you have questions regarding sales, marketing, and scaling, how to hire, train and retain employee please send them to me before the class, and if possible, we will discuss them during the class. Remember that this is not a technical-related class. This is a course designed to take an average company and transform it into a Powerhouse!

Zoom is the videoconferencing program that we'll be using and therefore it is required to have Zoom installed ahead of the class along with a solid internet connection. You will need to have functioning audio & video (microphone and webcam) to participate. Here are the Zoom requirements. And the Zoom FAQ page.

The IICRC website offers the most up to date information. Please check out their FAQ about online classes.

No. However, because the course is packed with so much information, I do ask that you observe the basic housekeeping guidelines: Please tuck yourself away in a quiet area without distraction and place your mobile device on silent during the course. There will be plenty of breaks to take care of business.

No! Many restorers have scaled their business with never having done Program work.

Is the future of the independent disaster restoration owners doomed? Absolutely not and don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise! The independent simply must be more creative in Lead Generation, better at Lead Conversion and most importantly offer an unparalleled Customer fulfillment process.

Yes and No, depending largely on how strong your home base is. We will discuss in detail the pros and cons in chasing CAT work.

There are throngs of men and women wanting to go back to work. Your mission is to build a company worth staying at and one that allows the employees to feel needed, wanted, and appreciated. That’s why the second day of the course is all about building an employee onboarding process that will ease the day-to-day frustrations associated with hiring, training, and retaining employees.
